At Awarely, we believe that protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled with care and security is fundamental to our mission. Our founder spent 5 years building privacy products before launching Awarely and brings the conviction that privacy is critical for creating a safe environment for users to be open and vulnerable. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information, as well as the choices you have regarding your data.
By using the Awarely app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information Collection and Use
While using Awarely, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. This information may include, but is not limited to:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo
Please note: Phone numbers provided for authentication are sent to and stored by Google to improve spam and abuse prevention across Google services, including but not limited to Firebase.
2. Log Data
We collect information that your device sends whenever you use our app, known as Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, app usage, and other statistics.
3. Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. We use cookies to collect information to improve our service. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
4. Data Storage
We use third-party services, such as Firebase, to store and process your data securely. These services have their own privacy policies, which you can review to understand how they handle your data.
5. Data Security
We value your trust in providing us with your personal information, and we strive to use the best methods to protect it. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Sharing

We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers to provide necessary services for the app's functioning, but they are required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes for which it was shared.
